Bodweight Workout “The King Pin”

Here’s a great little workout that I like to recommend especially if you are pushed for time. It covers all the aspects, only takes 20 minutes and can be done anywhere and with zero equipment.

“The King Pin”

The King Pin is a 20 minute amrap – you need to do as many rounds in 20 minutes as you can. Rest when you need to, if its too easy then you can add weights to the situp, upgrade the squats from standard to jump and the pushups can be upgraded to a harder pushup such as a plyometric pushup or performed on a bench or med ball.

The workout:

  • 15 Pushups
  • 15 Situps
  • 15 Squats

This is a great little workout if you are pushed for time, or one to take on holiday and you just want to maintain or blow out some cobwebs. If you are new to training then using this 2 or 3 times a week is a great entry to fitness and conditioning that covers 3 of the most fundamental bodyweoight exercise.
